Will be productive later. Headachey and and keen to just flop with tv right now. Really hoping the people screaming outside the window at 4am this morning about how they were going to "come back and fuck you up tomorrow" at the empty (well, theoretically empty. people keep being in the garage, it's very weird and not-fun) house next door do not, because it took me forever to get back to sleep again after that. Meh. I do not like people, especially drunk/drugged/angry people. So I am watching DVDs and not accomplishing anything else, yay me.
-Jack arguing with himself in Tin Man is kind of one of the best things ever. I thought they did that episode well, it could've been so dire and wasn't, really.
-I think I love the accretion disc bit in Pegasus Project more now that I know it's a self-referential SG-1 joke. Because Jack was talking about that in the episode with the eclipse and I was shrieking with glee. Must rewatch Pegasus Project. <3333
-Eeee! I just squeed so bad because Daniel just figured out about the second Stargate on Earth. YAYE. Also, dude, how come Earth is all special and gets two? That seems a bit... much, really. I mean, okay, sure, blah blah Ancients blah blah whatever, but still. Hee. Tau'ri-centric worldview ahoy!
-Also, I don't care how hot the alien tail you're eyeing up is, you do not give said alien your cat! Or, at least, I wouldn't. Heh. Also, do they teach the Air Force to mack on aliens of appropriate gender in training, or what? *eyes Jack, Sam and John and snickers madly*
-Also, I have a question about the 'gates and how the whole 'closing the wormhole' thing works because frankly I can't get my head around it. *bats eyelashes at flist*
-The other thing about watching Season 1 is they're such babies. I keep squeaking and making 'aww' noises over them because, well, they are. They're all young and shiny and just... cute. And wow with the good intentions, too, I'm quite impressed with that. I'm also quite impressed that, the more familiar I get with SG-1, the clearer it is that while they fuck up a lot, and SGA fuck up a lot, SGA finds new and different ways to make their own lives harder. I kinda have to respect that. (Does that make any sense??)
