This is so far my new favourite thing. It's a CSI high school AU. It's fucking FUNNY. It's really good (what is it about HS fics? *misses basketcase* and, why has no one who is good at teh funny done a dS one?) and just... it's really good. Not "good for this fandom", it's actually fucking awesome. YAY I HAVE FOUND THE MOTHER LODE.

...I know, you all just wish I would have found, like, a gag or something. Hee. :D

viz.:

“We could sell you to Principal Willows,” Nick said seriously. “I’m sure she always wanted some kind of personal male secretary to follow her around, make notes, rub her feet - - “

“I want to do a lot of things for Principal Willows, but making her notes isn’t one of them.”

“What a coincidence, Sanders. There is something you can do for me, and, much, I’m sure, to your delight, it doesn’t involve taking my notes, but, good idea, Stokes.”

Greg stared at the principal in astonishment. "How do you always know when to come up behind us and get a snappy comeback in?”

“It’s a gift,”

And:

“I want to be on Saturday Night Live when I grow up,” Greg said seriously. “I talked to my counselor and she said it’s a wasted ambition, but I’m not going to let that get in my way, Ms. Willows, I promise.  I’ll beat the odds. In fact, I’m taking a vow - - here, Warrick, you can be my witness: I, Greg Sanders the First, am going to make repeat appearances on Saturday Night Live when I grow up.”

Willows sighed. “If you grow up, Sanders. If.”

I love fandom.

OMG. The author quotes basketcase (the song) in the fic. I am done for. This is awesome.
