I'm with the band! (first and probably last time I'll get to say that, for at least a few years...)
Attn: AoL especially, and also anyone else wanting a region-free DVD player in the US - if you missed Neil's post this morning, he links to what he says is a very good and trustworthy site offering them for $129. Which sounds pretty solid to me, frankly. (For comparison, I think mine was about $500 NZ three years ago, so given the exchange rate and the usual price drop that seems appropriate.) DVD Players.
In other news, after the mad partying skills of all of us last night (or, okay, a lot of giggling, computer games and laptop shenanigans) most of us slept for, like, 10 hours. Unreal. I woke up a few times and had crazy dreams which I think can be attributed to reading G.R.R. Martin right before bed (I had a bodyguard though he looked polynesian, really, rather than anything else, and there was a lot of running around and Bad Guys in many different environments) and then had waffles for breakfast.
And now I'm still feeling fairly plague-y - sore throat of arghness and coughing like a mofo, though at least I didn't seem to keep anyone up with coughing last night, phew. I'm just hoping those symptoms bugger off soonest, and don't get any worse. Least my head's feeling pretty clear so far, still. *touches wood*
And tonight I get to play roadie (!!) and see Exit and SERIOUSLY THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW AWESOME THIS IS. Course, I also get to make dinner for everyone first so hopefully will not screw that up royally. That would suck. Must investigate to ascertain I have enough ingredients. Least I cheated and got pre-shredded cheese. *lame* *loses at wifeliness*

And weather is warm and pretty yaye!
EDIT: ...oh my tawg. So, I just happened to catch myself in a well lit mirror in the bathroom just now and I'm wearing a tank top because of the aforementiong omgyaye!warm weather... and I still have tan lines on my shoulders from Croke. SO AMUSED.
