Happy Belated St. George's

Apr 24, 2010 01:32

Damn, missed it by an hour (or two DX).  DX  So, yes yesterday happened to be St. George's Day - England's national day, celebrating the patron saint of England - St. George.  As in, St. George the Dragonslayer.  XD  (Traditionally celebrated by wearing roses on your lapel and then feasting and getting raring drunk at banquets.)  Man, just when I didn't think England could get more awesome, his patron saint is a freaking dragonslayer.  So to commemorate, I threw this together.  Huzzah for awesome action sequences!! (And shameless fanservice)

Title: Slayer
Warnings: None
Summary: England fights a dragon
A/N:  I was momentarily conflicted before drawing this.  Sure, England can see dragons, but does that mean he's predisposed to killing them?  Wouldn't it in fact be the opposite since imaginary creatures are his friends?  So I had a choice here: England either saves a dragon... or he kills one.  As soon as I thought that I realized - "Wait... seriously?  I'm actually thinking about this?."  So there we go.  ^__^

Title: Butterfly
Warnings: None
Summary: England and Chibi!America lineart
A/N:  ....Reeeeeally big stretch as my 6th Earth Day pic.  ^^;;;
