Gratitude
Hey all, I'm sorry for not replying to all your comments yet. I swear I'll get to them after I recover from this 40 page colored comic. ^^;
Title: Gratitude

Summary: England camps out in Jamestown to help the colonists settle. AU, Native!America, JohnSmith!England
A/N: ...This will probably not get you in the mood for Thanksgiving... ^^; So a couple things... this is like the Pilgrim story, but not really - it's more the John Smith and Pocahontas story, which has a similar story to the Pilgrim story - as Pocahontas actually saved the settlement from a wintry death of starvation and hypothermia. (The settlers ended up growing only tobacco instead of food *faceplam*) I picked Jamestown primarily because it's easier to justify England's presence there. The Pilgrims were families intent on breaking away from England, whereas the Jamestown settlers were pretty much only men who came to make a quick buck by growing tobacco.
Aaand, you're going to have to tell me if coloring the entire comic was worth it or not. I'm a little annoyed with myself for it actually, mainly because it didn't come out as well as I would have liked. ^^;
