Gone Native

Jul 17, 2010 23:14

Yay~!  Scanner and photoshop are back!  And I have officially moved - 20 miles away from where I previously was - but still officially!  (Although this made my commute go from a 30m commute to a 1h30m commute *sigh*)  Ah well, I apologize for my absence and that I have mere doodles and a 1 pg comic to show for it.  ^^;

The pics are most definitely AU doodles, but let's just say I was set off by the word "primitive."  It's not a word I hear in everyday conversation and it went off like a gong in my head.  Next thing I knew, I was doing Native!America sketches.  ^^;;;

Title: Gardening
Warnings: None
Summary: America asks England a hypothetical question.
A/N: ...For some reason I see England as a gardener.  Not sure why.  ^^

Title: First Meeting, Undraped, Captured, and Immersion
Warnings: America with dark hair
Summary: Native!America and JohnSmith!England
A/N: Okay, I'll admit it, definitely was thinking about Pocahontas when I did this, so I rather modeled Native!America after the Powhatan Indians.  Also, it's really sad, but I honestly keep forgetting that Captain John Smith isn't American.  I mean, obviously he isn't.  He didn't even stay in Jamestown after all that drama.  But if you ask me what nationality he is and my guard's down, my instant reflex is to say he's American.  ^^;;;;  That being said, not sure I'll make that mistake now because Native!America/JohnSmith!England is entirely too yummy.  :D  Also, the dark hair was completely necessary.  A blond Native American?  That's utterly ridiculous!
