It's crazy how timeless "The Cosby Show" is. There are so many things about Heathcliff Huxtable that remind me of my dad. The relationship between Heathcliff and Theo Huxtable serve as such a reminder of me and my dad. It's so much more fun looking back on those times than living them. (i.e. The time I got my ears pierced, my dad ripped them out and banged me on the head with a frying pan.) Looking back it's funny, but damn did it hurt back then. I'm just sad that I'm gonna miss out on my dad embarrassing me by tell my son all the things I did when I was his age. I know I'm going to miss out on a lot of laughs and happy times without him, but there's always those inside joke him and I had that still bring a smirk to my face when occasions arise. I miss you dad. I hope I'm making you proud.
btw I was going to write about how beautiful Claire Huxtable is and how I hope my wife is that beautiful in her motherhood, but my typing took a different direction.
