I tried calling my parents today, and when I couldn't get ahold of them, I asked my Mom's friend about it.

Everyone I know is hilarious.

Her: Mom is a work not sure about your dad
Me: that's why no one's answering the phone
Her: damn dogs have not learned that chore yet
they keep saying I can't see the caller ID
Me: I don't think Mom wants Tucker answer the phone
He might pee on it
Her: no he will take it to bed with him
he keeps getting in bed at night
Me: I heard about that
and licking mom's face

It's true. Tucker is a face licker. He is also slighty nutty and such a freaking awesome dog. He was my Christmas preseent two years ago. Mommy keeps him for me. This is not true, she would NEVER part with Tucker

This year I will hopefully have a new puppy. We will name her Tricky Trixie Tanabaum because the LAST TIME we named a dog with a letter other then T it ended with heartbreak and tears and THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. (Though in all fairness, it always ends in tears and heartbreak.)

I spent most of today cleaning. My living room and kitchen are still messy, but it's the kind of mess that comes from sorting through stuff and organizing. But it is still a mess. My friend Evan is coming down from Tokyo to visit sometime this week, so I better HOPE TO GOD I have the living room and kitchen down, and give the bathroom a scrubbing. Siiiigh.

I also made cupcakes this evening! They are white cupcakes with raspberry jam in them. I had one. I am SO GLAD that is the only one I'll eat and that I am riding my bike to Oku and back tomorrow, because eeehhh, I feel fat. Tomorrow there will be cupcakes and amazake, because I made the amazake that the Tanakas gave us (one package of it, anyway. I'll save the other in the freezer for Thanksgiving) But the cupcakes were from a box, so I put the jam in them just because I CANNOT leave things alone. That, and I mean really. RASPBERRY JAM. Mmmm. Oh and I put things together for tomorrow, so when I get home I can just toss my chicken in the oven and bake it. Mmm, baked chicken and potatoes, yummy!

Next weekend is Koyasan and the Tetsujin 28 Robot sculpture, and then the weekend after that I can, I dunno. CLEAN MY ROOM OMG NO WAY SAY IT ISN'T SO!

Man, I wish I had a butler to do the cleaning for me.

I love Obito. Those goggles are just too cute

maybe I should go to bed now huh. >.> I'm starting to feel gushy about fictional characters again.

dogs, family, life in japan, life, obitoobitoobito, baking, cooking, cleaning
