House-a-thon 2009, paaaaaaiiin

Apr 30, 2009 22:19

So I've started watching House (don't ask what episode I'm on, it's embarrassing), and really enjoying it. I'd still like to own it on DVD someday, but for right now, this confirms my hypothesis: House is one of the BEST THINGS EVER to watch/listen to while you do stuff. I love that show.

This morning, I had the world's WORST headache, and could do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for it until lunch. When I MADE myself eat. I didn't want to. After that, I took pain killers that didn't really help, but eventually I wandered around school, soaked up some sun, and managed. TOTALLY ditched cleaning today, but I was in PAAAAAAIIIIN. Like, serious pain. The kind where you think "Gee, if I had a gun, I bet it would hurt less to shoot myself in the head" kind of pain. YAY migraines. I haven't had one of those in awhile, so I am going to head to bed shortly, and pray that sleeping will take it away and I won't have to take MORE meds in the morning. D: I am tempted to take the vicodin to work because it hurt THAT BAD, but I need to wait, in cause my teeth get painful again. BOO.

I wonder if Hugh Laurie's comedy fans are disgruntled that he's apparently having a good time playing House (aside from the fact that he misses his family). I also wonder what prompted a guy in British Comedy to turn to a medical drama, although I am willing to bet money and a interesting character were apart of it. I wish more people loved House like I do. XDDD

I am reeeaaally tired, and need sleep. But since I've stopped using Twitter so much, and haven't posted on LJ recently, I thought I'd update.

Also: Made tapioca pudding this evening. 8D Good times. Just made it under the deadline, that's four recipes this month. Next recipe's lined up, would have done it tonight but I didn't have vinegar or lemon. Go fig.

mental note: talk about the kid with host boy boot shoes, and the kid who cropped his uniform and now looks like a bad 70s porn star (he also has an earring. This is highly disturbing, as he is 14 and was no where near the 70s, he looks RIDICULOUS). And the takenoko that I was offered today. My yankee kids are WIERD.
