Happy New Year

Jan 01, 2009 20:30

So I was in Pittsburgh for the past few days, and that was really nice. It snowed on New Year's Eve, which sucked because I didn't end up going to Monroville and seeing Tina and Julie like I'd hoped. I left thier presents with Anne, so hopefully they will get them.

It was nice to see everyone, and I wish I would have thought to stay longer. I probably could have, I just didn't. =/ I did get Anne to read the Kakashi Gaiden, and she's started reading Naruto. I think it's set a different tone to Kakashi and the rest of the series to her, which is good and bad. Personally? I don't care if she never reads the rest, because she's read the most important part. Though I think I have her intruiged.

Seeing all the Pittsburgh people was really nice too--I somehow managed to spend most of my time with Anne, which was entirely unintentional. I think that mostly happened because Jen worked on New Year's Eve and I ended up not going to Monroville because of the snow. So Anne and I went shopping on Murray and made perogies. We also played a little Cthullu, But Anne and mine's hearts were not in the moment, and we ended up going to see Twilight. Which was hilarious. And ahahaha, Carlisle was so gay, Anne and I had a hard time believing that he was in love with Esme.

wtf I am discussing Twilight rationally. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously though, the movie was really cute. I have little desire to see any of the others (unless they make Breaking Dawn, in which case I may make an acception, becauyse that was the worst thing I've ever read just about)

As for resolutions, I am going to get back into the swing of my diet, and try to do a new recipe a week, or at least four new recipes a month. Hopefully, I will be able to do that. I want to make some kind of creative goals, but I want to try and work on getting healthier first.

I guess we'll see what the new year brings, eh?
