Osaka pictures
So I have a few pictures from a fabulous weekend. (skip to the end if you just want pictures)
Saturday was cake and Mexican NaNoWriMo Day. I basically held a sweet little party of cake, Mandarake run (there were NO accessories there! So sad), and mexican food. It was awesome. I handed out goodie bags to my WriMos and to my beloved rholey-senpai, and we did print club. Zach and Celeste were the only non-Wrimos I had, though I think he might try it. :3 I got rid of all my goodie packs too. Hopefully stickers will arrive shortly. . .
Today was the comic event, which was meh. =/ Looking forward to the Kakashi event next month (and when will I have time for Nano? NEVER) though, cause that should rock.
We went out to lunch/dinner with our awesome doujinka friends again, and I got showered with compliments for my outfit. :D I am totally happy with the dress I wore, and apparently I was so well put together that people thought it was a set. HAHAHA no. I didn't even wear more of one brand or another, and I think at one point I was wearing like, four different brands at once. LOL. The concensus of my lolita friends this weekend is this: Really, it's not about what brands you wear, or even if you wear brand, but how you coordinate what you wear. You know? If one hundred girls have your dress, what are you doing to make yourself stick out and look the best? Don't get me wrong, I don't think I am some sort of coordinate making master, but I think I feel a lot. . . more zen about everything now as well. And I think I have a better grasp on what I am doing.

That look of terror on Kate and mine's faces? REAL TERROR. Zach decided to mosh in the booth and we were about to fall over. AHAHAHAHAHA true story.
This is me in the pretty rose jumperskirt at the event. I was wearing my cardigan as well, but onviously not in that picture. I had Kate take this picture so I could send it to one of my co-workers, who wanted to see. She thinks I look really cute--what say you, Oh readers on my lj?

OH YEAH and randomly? Kate went to a Host Club saturday morning, and met a GRADUATE OF KUSE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. WTF. So I am going to a Host Club in January to meet a former student of my old school. HAHAHA. Can't wait to see what Elementary school he and his brother went to, and stuff. OMG I PROBABLY TAUGHT HIS BROTHER, HOLY CRAP. What a crazy random happenstance!
