Things that happened to me today that sucked monkey balls. You know, the hairy kind.
1) Was told by the vice principal that some random Kindergarden wants me to teach at thier school tomorrow. I told him there was no way in HELL that was happening. It got rescedualed to next Thursday. I am still working on getting out of this, because honestly? I don't care.
2) Was told, fifteen minutes before class, that it was my LAST CLASS with 2B, and could I think of a game to play? I was told I'd have half the class. I ran my idea by the teacher, and told her I'd need fifteen or twenty minutes. When we got to class? I barely had ten minutes. Oh and the principal came to watch the kids being absolutely awful. Thanks, I will not miss you guys. (this is a lie, when I leave I will cry)
3) Got an email from my predesessor today asking for 15man (about $1500USD) for the following: hat stand, towels (heaps!), cordless iron, cabinet for plates/cups/food, juicer, tefal frypan, baking dish, cake tin, various food storage containers, brita water filter (and cartridges), full-size sofa, DVD player, freestanding fan, wooden tall boy dresser, carpet rug, long table/desk. Sent her an email back saying that I really don't need most of it, ad am only really interested in the hat rack and jucier. Honestly, you can BUY a couch and dresser NEW for about $400. Where in God's name is she getting these figures? And asking for this without pictures? Yes, there's precident on JET to charge successors for things that you are passing on, but in my honest opinion? I was totally willing to buy a new couch at my current home and just leave it for them. Pay it forward, you know? Unless she has a couch like my parents', which is SUPER cushy and I can drown in, it's not worth it when the hose has THREE OTHER SMALL COUCHES already. Really, wtf.
Best part of today? COMING HOME.
