"Would you like some crack?"
So today was fun. I finally got a chance to sleep late (first time in awhile I didn't have SOMETHING to do in the morning on a weekend). I was able to sleep until about 11:30, which I really, really needed. While I slept, Kate was at the gym. It was nice. YAY sleep.
The orientation went well. The new ALTs seem interesting. Some of them aren't planning to get internet. Now, if these newbs lived in Osaka or a bigger city, yeah, I could see that working. But these kids live mostly out in the country, with little to no way of getting out of thier towns. What the hell are they thinking? Yeah, my pred lived without it, but she also checked her email. And apparently none of them want to sign up for the mailing list for the prefecture. I don't get that--that is how we communicate with each other, and get the word out about events and stuff. =/ Frustrating!
So I bought an external harddrive today, and now I am SO poor. Haha. But it was totally worth it--300gigs, I will never run out of space again! YAY!! We also had mexican. And I bought beads. For my super secrit project 2!!!! Super Sekrit Project 1 is on hiatus, sadly. Because I have other things to do. Wheeeeeee.
Anyway, other stuff to do while I have net (leeching from Kate), so I'll go and babble more tomorrow when I get home.
