So yesterday didn't TOTALLY suck
So, I went to a concert last night at a local bar. It was sweaty, muggy, and disgusting and loud.
But it was great. The boy and I had fun (boy=my cousin). Unloco was the opening act, and they were good, I bought thier CD at the end of the show (and the guitarist, who is hotter in person then on the cd jacket, signed it *swoon*)
. Chevelle, the main act, they were really good too. No, I have never heard of either of them before, this was a free show, my cousin paid for my ticket (awww, I am making him take me out even though he's poooooor, LOL). It was fun. we were both DRENCHED with sweat afterwords, though he was moreso then me. His shirt was still drying this morning when he woke! Ahh, it was fun. It was my fist show where I had a cool "I'm 21" handstamp. LOL. We had a good time. Made me feel MUCH better after the craptastic day I had after I got back from work.
Oh, yes....Otakon. *rolls eyes* It was ok. Everything I wanted to do got cancelled/moved. Not to mention I didn't get my rug from the artist's alley, NOR did I get my robe signed. I'm rather pissed with Otakon. Oh, and GAbe and Tycho were missing from the con too. They didn't go! WAHH!! I wanted my PA guys.
And now, my angst/whining......
