Pre Morphicon and 1st day thoughts
So, travel woes aside*, me and dj_rocca were spending some time with our friend dave and he gave us the most awesome engagement gifts ever, as she had already stated here. Friday however we didn't wear them, because of reasons that I don't really know. Anyways, we're all on the way an then m14mouse said she was lost.** We picked her up an then it was a short trip to the convention center. Fun random meet up with people from online while waitingto go into the giant room of toys.
While wandering around we ran into , in no complete order, Jason Narvy, Mike Ginn, Jason Faunt, Paulie Schrier (sp??) and Vernon Wells to name just a few***. As stated by dj_rocca, we sorta just sat around and talked to Mike Ginn alot. He was super super awesome. ( as well as the first Gold Ranger team...the DiFilippio Triplets)
We didn't go to many panels that day****, really just hanging with friends from PRU and LJ and geeking out about random fan trivia. There were bits and peices of other panels that I don't really remember, but the highlight of the night was most assuredly the Power Rangers After Dark panel.
There were things that were joked about and behind the scenes info that was shared and just.....yeah. Things I can't forget and can never un hear/ un see.
Also so many many bunnies that came from the panels and random discussions were rediculous.
I so wish that I had videos and photos to upload and share, but soon I shall.
* seriously, we were stuck in the phoenix airport for like 9 hours because our flight was cancelled, and we'd been up since like 3 or 4 am. Just...ugh.
** Yeah....busses and rail systems in california can be a bit tricky at times. Although we had a fun time upoon getting mouse safely to the con.
*** we randomly ran into my buddy Phil, aka Max from Wildforce, as we were going to go to eat. We got many a hug and what not from the Jeanmaries as well as getting to see the baby.
**** it was really just more fun to wander around the room and stare at shiny toys and connect with friends about stuff. I was also introducing dj_rocca to everyone as my fiance which was just super cool to be able to do :D
