Terrorists Take Credit for Moscow Theater Fire
MOSCOW -- Chechen guerrilla leader Shamil Basayev has claimed responsibility for last week's fire at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater, this city's second most important ballet and opera venue after the Bolshoi. Basayev has threatened more of the same. It's the second fire at the theater in two years; renovations from the last disaster were still underway.
