yesterday was sweet...
yesterday was one of the best days i've had this spring break....
First off Grace, her friend Whitni, and I went up to the Emerald City Comic Convention at the Seahawk Exhibition Center... It was fucking RAD! surprisingly enough, It was the first comicon i've been to, and oh my god, i shall return... WALLS OF TOYS! WALLS OF COMICS... WALLS OF DILDOS!... wait... strike that last one... but yeah, super awesome, grace and whitni met roman dirge of johnny, squee and invader zim fame (they said he was oh so dreamy, i thought he just wasn't a COMPLETE dorkus). I got a couple of batman comics (penned by Jim Lee) as well as THE ENTIRE X-MEN ANIMATED SERIES ON 8 DVDs!!! oh happy day...
After the comic con we went to The Graceland (or as it is currently called 'El Corazon') to see Minus the Bear and Thursday. Whitni left, but not before we met up with Irene! She's oh so awesome and the show was alright too... Although I realized that i've never been a Thursday fan... Grace told me that was the best she's ever seen them play, and though i could tell they were super into it and the crowd was as well, i just couldn't get into them... its their singer... he's just way too emo for my blood, but they do put on a pretty good live show, alas....
after the show we drove to Bellview (or however you spell it) for Devin's B-day, it was pretty rediculous... not so much because of the amount of people there, but because of the quality of people there... everyone there was fuckin hilarious and i laughed more than i have in a while...
at 2 we realized that it was daylightsavingstime and it was actually 3, so we drove back to olympia and went to sleep...
