At first Satoshi was alone, and then in the next instant, Emil simply appeared. He was quiet for a good two seconds, the shock of being yanked somewhere that wasn't the Plane apparently getting to him. And then he stiffened, grasped the handle of his sword, and snarled at the blue-haired boy who had passing familiarity and not much else.

"Where's Marta?!"

Well, that answer was simple. It also made Emil hesitate. "What? She was just with me! Where the hell else would she be?!"

Emil loathed the calm way in which the boy-- Hiwatari-- handled everything. It pissed him off even more. But there was nothing he could do right now. "I tried and was pulled here instead. Someone's toying with me," he snarled.
