Time: Shortly after leaving this note during the power swap plot
Summary: Oliver and Jamie discuss the current situation on the Plane and possibly make a discovery.
Warnings: Possible alcohol consumption.
After leaving his note for Jamie, Oliver made straight for the bar. He didn't want to risk missing his friend, especially after what Jamie had written. Oliver was guessing Jamie's unfinished sentence meant he had a hunch about what ability he might have, although he obviously didn't want to share it in a public place. But--particularly after their recent conversation about abilities--Oliver had no intention of leaving his friend to deal with whatever-it-was all alone. Not to mention there was a thing or two it would be nice to talk about with Jamie, too...
Oliver grimaced at that thought. He was just entering the bar then, so he went straight for the tap. He needed a drink to distract himself from those memories. Not only that, but he needed a drink to make this whole conversation easier, especially if he really was going to admit to Jamie about his dream. He was still feeling reluctant to do that. After all, he couldn't help wondering what good it could possibly do for people to know. If it really was the future, how could that make it any better? He was afraid it would just make his friend worry. Even so, after Jamie's reaction to the hologram about his empathy, he felt that he should tell him.
But, he decided, he would only do that after they had discussed whatever it was that was bothering Jamie. That was the real reason for this visit. He needed to help his friend if he could. So with that in mind, Oliver sat down at the bar and immediately swivelled himself so that he had a view of the door. He took a sip of his beer, starting out slow. He didn't know how long it would take Jamie to see the note, and he didn't want to be drunk already by the time he arrived.
Oliver tapped his free hand against his barstool, hoping that time would be soon.
