Time: About two days after the two met in the bar.
Summary: Duo and Heero converge on each other once again, and Duo drags Heero along to his colony.

The flight attendant offered him some concession. A snack really. Coffee or tea, he chose coffee. Someone had to stay awake and on guard, and as par usual he was the one defaulted to. He watched Heero sleep a while before toying with the video panel on the seat in front of him, looking for news feeds and the like. What's it like on L4? Who's running the place? All useful updates for the need to know.

He wondered absently if any of Quatre's numerous siblings would be willing to assist them, but it was dismissed almost immediately. Whether or not Duo was actually responsible or not didn't matter. The war they were in got their little brother killed. They'd probably sooner turn them in than help now.

So Duo lay back in his chair and waited for that big colony to come into view. Next step on their itinerary was to get another shuttle and make it to the resource satellite. Given the industry here, it may be easier just to play along as miners to get to the place in question. Hm.

They soon arrived and set down on L4's space dock, and Duo took to the task to rousing Heero. Alright fearless leader, what now? Throw around a few ideas? They did have two different resource satellites to hit after all.

It wasn't entirely up to Heero, but it was a judgment call. Duo walked with Heero off the shuttle, snorting a laugh as Heero got catty. "Well Heero, I'm really not feeling up to getting shot at again. So either we do the direct approach or go in with a little more subtlety. The fastest way there is to get a shuttle. We should probably go in through the mining companies, take one of theirs."

And they probably shouldn't get too much trouble out of that. It's not the people he's worried about, it's the mobile suits.

"Yeah. Kinda noticed." Maybe if you didn't waste your time injuring them you'd have avoided that unnecessary injury. He didn't say it, but it was on his mind.

"Only reason I suggest the mining company is that if we use their shuttles it'll at least look natural. Even so, it is out of the way, so we may as well just get it over with. We got a whole another stop to hit after wards." Pick up Deathscythe and the gundam pilots are back in action. Duo started for the main shuttle bay.

It wouldn't matter at all. It was still out of their way. "Me pilot, huh? No sweat." Of course using one of these shuttles was a breeze to him, even if he was a few years out of practice. Would Heero catch that? And was his skills still as good as they were before? He certainly hoped so. They always say that it's like riding a bike, though that was one childhood skill Duo didn't get a chance to learn.

"How about we stop off for a few supplies on the way to the shuttle bay?" Duo asked, pointing to one of the market kiosks on the way over. He unfolded a pair of sunglasses from his backpack for Heero and started in, grabbing a few pre made sandwiches and some bottled water. That's all they needed for food.

Trail mix and some fresh fruit? Way better than candy, even to him. Besides, it wasn't like they had anything good in places like these anyway. He had to make his money last also, so yeah, no junk food. Duo brought everything to the counter and let the man ring him up, paying in cash. He took it all in a paper bag and pulled it off. "Come on."

And off towards the shuttle bay. Once there, he opened one of the doors and stepped onto a catwalk in near silence. Here the gravity was lower so they had to work twice as hard to go as fast as they needed to. To him it looked like there were mostly laborers here. Best just get a suit and blend in. Duo moved quickly aside over to the next area. Sure enough, a set of lockers. He opened them to produce two blue space suits, with an OZ logo. "These might help." He tossed one into the low gravity and it floated to Heero.

Didn't take long for him to get into his suit, so while Heero was getting in his, he put all of their supplies into a rucksack and pulled his helmet on over his head. Once Heero's jacket was off, Duo took it and stuffed it into the bag along with his. They were ready. Duo slung the pack over his shoulder and headed down to the main docking bay and headed for one of the closest unused shuttles he could find. With these uniforms, who would suspect them?

They weren't exactly inconspicuous. When they started down into the bay towards a shuttle a few of the technicians started to get a little edgy. Who were those two? There was no scheduled OZ movement now!

"Hey! You two! Stop!" They called. They were unarmed men, trying to get an explanation for it. With no answer, the one in the rear signaled for someone to open an alarm. OZ would be on their tail now. No doubt about it!

No time to fuss. Duo leaped up towards the shuttle door of one of the smaller models. Maneuverable. Easy enough for him to take on. They needed something with speed too. He opened the side panel and slipped inside. The real trouble now was getting the hatch open.

Duo pulled the strap over his shoulders and secured himself, starting up the engines and throttle. They didn't have time to hack the system, so they'd have to be a little more blunt. He pulled the shuttle out with the initial thrust and tested a few of the systems.

"This craft is equipped with a laser cutting system isn't it?" Duo gestured to Heero's side of the controls.
