Naminé was just as, if not more, confused than Roxas. There were two of him! And one knew her. This one quite obviously didn't. But she'd been planning on telling him for a while, now, and here was her chance.

So, she made her way up Sunset Hill (no need for a train ticket. She could insert herself wherever she wanted within the simulation), and spotted Roxas. The girl took a deep breath, steeled herself for the no doubt horrible reaction, and continued forward.

"Hello, Roxas," she said, stopping behind the boy and smiling down at him.

Roxas didn't hear the girl approach, but when she spoke, voice gentle, he tipped his head back to look up at her. He'd been preparing himself for some sort of horrible, shocking, and otherwise generally negative ways to describe "very important news" (because really, when strangers need to tell you something, when is it ever positive?).

"Hi, Naminé," the boy responded, his own small smile forming, and he wondered if he should move to stand, or wait for her to sit down beside him. He didn't know if this was going to be something that would take two seconds to say, or what, but he'd made the effort to get here, and he wanted to get his munny's worth (he could have bought at least ten ice cream bars with that munny ( ... )

Naminé sat beside him, smiling and taking a calming breath. "Well, Roxas," she said uncertainly, turning her gaze to the sunset. "We finally meet, hm?" It would make no sense to him, but she'd wanted to meet him for a while. This "experiment" certainly made things more difficult, but then, when did things ever go as planned?

She thought for a moment, trying to figure out how to proceed. "Have you been having any... Strange dreams, lately?"

The experiment was certainly an unexpected turn of events, but it made things more interesting, didn't it? Still, it was frustrating when Roxas didn't know why they were all being used as lab rats, and asking questions would get them nowhere.

"Finally?" Roxas asked, eyebrows raised, but he didn't really expect an answer. He was almost getting used to not having his questions answered. At least, not in a straightforward manner. His own smile slowly disappeared, as Naminé quieted.

And when she spoke again, Roxas looked over at her. He'd never mentioned those to her... only to Cloud, and the older look-alike said he had them too...

"Yeah," he answered with a slight nod of his head. "What about you? Do you have them?"

He'd begun to think that it must have been something that everyone appearing on the Astral Plane had, because he wasn't the only one (though the "dreams" he and Cloud both had were completely different, but that was beside the point).

She shook her head. "Not in the same way you do. And I've known you for a... A long time. I've just never met you before." Her heart clenched. Oh, this was so hard, but she knew if he found out from DiZ or Riku it would be so much harsher.

Naminé still couldn't meet his eyes, and so she tangled her fingers into the grass. "In your dreams... You see a boy named Sora, don't you? And his friends, Donald, Goofy, Riku and Kairi, right?" This must be so unsettling, having a girl you've never met tell you she's known you for so long and then tell you she knows what you've been dreaming about.

Well, this was just becoming stranger and stranger, and all Roxas could do was stare at Naminé as she spoke. How could she know him... if they'd never met? Maybe she'd known one of his friends, and thereby him, in some roundabout sort of way. But they would have told him about her, wouldn't they?

So that probably wasn't it.

A hand came up to thread in his hair, elbow still resting on his knee, to keep his head propped up as he continued to watch Naminé, who could no longer meet his gaze.

"Sora?" he repeated, blinking, and then shifting his own gaze to the sunset. That's right. Indeed, Roxas had heard that name before, in one of his dreams. And his friends...

He knew all their names, but he didn't know who they were, or why he was dreaming about them.

"How... how do you know?" Roxas asked, and then worked up the nerve to look back over at the girl, his eyes wide.
