The TARDIS was dreading this moment more than anything in recent memory. More than the time station, more than the divergent universe, more than the darkness, more than anything. The very thought of what she was about to do set her systems on edge until she was close to overheating, her coolant systems working overtime to contain the excess heat ( ... )

With that, Diva finally released her hand so that she could place both hands on the scarf to hold it closer to her face. Finally. It was such a bother to have to lead a person around like a child. Or, well, an adult. Diva didn't mind leading children around. She liked children. A child's inane babble could be ignored or disregarded without the child telling how they felt about every little thing.

"Likewise," Diva offered simply, but unlike the TARDIS, her words were permeated by a false warmth, "Though, I'm glad that you came. I thought that maybe you wouldn't."

Diva's fingers rubbed the soft blue cloth in an idle gesture to distract her eyes from looking at the TARDIS's. She wouldn't give her such an honorable thanks. "...And thank you for offering to bring me flowers earlier. Though, they would probably die in this cold."

A handful of the locals were bustling about near where the TARDIS had landed and she watched them from her own doorway, the face of her projections stoic, lips pressed tight. She wanted very much to have the same mobility here as she did on the Astral Plane, but she was still unable to leave the confines of her interior, and so could only call out to Diva, for the moment ignoring Charlotte.

"I would not fall back on my word," she said simply, tilting her head quizzically, before disappearing into her interior and returning a moment later with a large bouquet of flowers in hand. "Here. I had the Doctor bring me some. I hope they are to your liking?"

Diva couldn't help but make a small noise of surprise. She hadn't partially not expected the TARDIS to show up at all, but she hadn't expected her to bring her flowers after all. Diva's lips curled into a shy kind of pout, but she did step forward to take them. The pout wasn't because she was upset or didn't like them, but more because she wasn't exactly sure how to react to an act of kindness from what she had labeled a person (machine) incapable of such a thing.

"...Ah, that would be..." she stammered quietly as she sniffed at the petals of the flowers, "They're really beautiful. Uhm...Thank you. Thank you very much, really."

She nodded curtly, tilting her head curiously to watch Diva's reactions. She had not thought obtaining flora and bringing it would have elicited such a response, but the flowers were apparently a ... kind? ... gesture. She would have to study what flowers meant in various cultures to discover the reasoning. And ask the Doctor why he never brought her flowers, if the act was obviously one to make another person happy.

At any rate, she was not here to please Diva and finally let her attention fall on Charlotte, who was chattering away about the types of flowers the TARDIS had handed the vampire. She didn't look like Miss Pollard, cloaked in the body of a boy, but her mannerisms, inflection, even the way she sighed when frustrated -- they were all the same.

When Charlotte chanced to look at her, the girl's eyes widened, her appearance melting away to be replaced by Miss Pollard's familiar features. The TARDIS sighed and turned to Diva. "Are you certain you don't want to keep her?"
