hello everyone. i am in Iowa. i have been reminded of why i hate this place. it is so OLD. i went bowling with my dad today, and there was almost 40 people there. me and my dad were literally the only ones there under 45. and there is nothing to do here. after bowling me and my dad drove around looking for something to do. and there was nothing. i suppose thats what happens when you are in a town full of old people. we went to the local mall, Westdale. half of the stores (again literally, im not exaggerating this stuff) we empty. empty as in there were no stores. and it too was full of old people. its like they get up, go to the mall, buy a pretzel, and proceed to wander aimlessly around the mall for the rest of the day. there was an upside to today though, i got to stay at home and sleep and eat and do nothing while my brother had school, track practice, and football practice. his spring break was last week instead of this week. we went to this place called bonanza for lunch. its like the iowan versian of golden corral. i had spaghetti, pizza, garlic bread, bread sticks, a roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice, nachos with nacho cheese, and chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate chips and hot fudge. it was good times. especially cuz my brother was at school while i was enjoying my meal. now im here at night watching tv because there is nothing else to do. this computer is way too slow, it only has dial-up. its such a pansy.
