I did not have much trouble with the tower, but I explored it before the snowstorm. Perhaps all the snow damaged the structure.

I did spend most of my time in the basement. But I found the first floor creaky, at worst.

Yeah, I think I just landed on a bad spot when I jumped. The floorboards gave way under the impact, and I fell down into the basement.

You certainly don't; that was one of the most foolish choices I made here. I just let my confidence get the better of myself.
