[So Athrun got into Ecruteak City last night, checked into an inn, and hit the sack immediately. And the first thing he does today? Gym visit.
Unfortunately, Morty isn't in the gym when he swings by. According to the man near the entrance, he went to the Burned Tower. So guess where Athrun's next destination is?
And so he alters his voice mail message to say he's out at the Burned Tower until further notice. And he heads to the tower.
Pretty quickly after he enters he runs into a Koffing. Not wanting to battle in such an unstable place, he tries to shoo it away, but it's making exploration difficult for him. So he sends out Nicol, battles it, and ends up capturing it. A little while later...]
[Audio; Action for anyone in the Burned Tower]
This was a mistake...
To anyone in Ecruteak: There's an old tower that has burned almost to the ground. Do not enter it; it's unsafe. I just nearly had an old beam fall on top of me and--
[There's a cracking noise.]
Whoa!
[A sound of rushing air, then the sound of a pair of shoes hitting a wooden floor...and the floorboards breaking.]
Oh, NO!
[A clattering noise. The PokéGear is now laying on the basement floor, with Athrun precariously hanging on. But that doesn't last long; Athrun loses his grip and falls into the basement himself.]
AAGH!
Maagmaaarrr!
[There's a bunch of muffled noises, and then everything falls silent.]
