We have a big vision for ministry that touches this world for YHWH's glory, with many, many lives being transformed by his Spirit and Word.  As this vision is ever before us, it has become increasingly obvious to me that one area we need assistance in, to fulfill our vision from HIM, is funding ( Read more... )

1. "...our goal is to see a complete return to the pattern for believers found in the New Testament, discarding the traditions that have formed over the centuries that are not Scriptural or useful."

There are many different opinions of what that actually was and should be among believers. That is a reason why I asked you about Holy Days and Names etc. Would you give give more detail as to what this pattern entails along with the traditions that you believe should be discarded?

3. Funding: I never said anything about 'miraculously' in my post. I guess I was more making the point that there are so many 'ministries' out there that claim to be doing the work of 'God'. People support the work they believe in. That is why there are so many denominations out there. You do not see Catholics supporting the Baptists or Jehovah Witnesses. Each group has a different set of opinions as to what the 'New Covenant Church' should look like, be acting like, and what they should be doing in 'The Great Commission'.

My point was, that if your vision is lining up with YHWH's vision for this point in time, He will provide all the funds necessary to accomplish His work...and yes, by those that agree with the work and have benefited from it.

4. "...This Live Journal is one branch of ministry used by House of Prayer (H.O.P.) ministries to obey the command of our Master to make disciples of all nations, taking forth the gospel of the Kingdom, and doing all ministry work related to that goal, to bring people into Messiah and then mature and equip them for their work for the Kingdom."

That sounds like a good purpose for a ministry. I am eager to experience more from this Live Journal branch.

(I will reply to each post separately.)

1. You should know our focus by the vast number of posts on this site and www.cryinginthestreets.org. In short, the main thing is having a personal relationship with YHWH through Mashiach born of and filled with the Ruach HaKodesh, and being taught, guided, empowered, and filled with YHWH's love in our hearts by the Ruach. Or, in the terms a typical Christian immediately understands, a personal relationship with the LORD (most know as Yahweh or Jehovah) through Christ born of and filled with the Holy Spirit...

We teach against Pharisaical type religiousness based on carnal understanding of the letter of the law which causes people to miss the point of it all, and tends to make them miss Messiah when he really shows up, or not know the Holy Spirit and his works.

Again, that should be obvious from the posts.

3. We agree in part. The reason only in part is because that does not take into consideration other variables including that we have an adversary, the devil, whose kingdom and forces of darkness fight against our efforts, especially when a ministry exposes religious deception that the devil often fools well-meaning believers with.

This cannot cause defeat, as greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. However, it does mean we have to war spiritually and put forth considerable effort at times to move forward and take more territory.

In other words, the true believer's walk and ministry is not passive with everything automatically working out with YHWH pouring down things from heaven and poof they manifest on earth without resistance.

Warfare through prayer and speaking the Word are are main weapons. Concerning material giving of recipients of our ministries, we have found that "you have not because you ask not." That is what YHWH brought to our minds after praying about why at times we were finding the ministry budget tighter than what was on our hearts to do according to our vision.

So, we started asking - making it known we invite people to have the opportunity to give if they are so inclined. We only want people to give cheerfully and never by compulsion.

Since we humbled ourselves to start asking (there was some pride we believe before that was causing us to not want to ask for help from people), the ministry finances have increased, allowing us to increase our active ministry.

4. We hope and pray your spiritual growth continues and increases and you become a very fruitful member of the Body of Messiah. That is our main goal and why our ministries exist.
