So this here’s the journal we use, right? Like one of Merlin’s books. Sure sounds useful, but gawrsh, I can’t read a word on the pages! [He angles the journal this way and that, then suddenly realizes what he’s doing wrong-flip!] A-hyuck!

[Goofy's looking quite the befuddled New Feather as he stands near the fountain in the typical white pants, looking around. He might look a little cautious--never know what you'll run into on a new world, after all--but he got some basic info from a rabbit, so at least he knows where he is, and he's mostly just curious about his surroundings.
