What is it about people that when you tell them that they were wrong, and they know it, that they get even more defensive and make situations worse for themselves? Is it just a natural tendency for a person to never admit a fault, clear to the point that they will dig themselves to far into a hole that only you can pull a compromise to bring them out? I'm tired of always compromising. I'm tired of being the one to lower a rope and forget what happened. I want someone to apologize to me for a change, and I want them to actually mean it.
It won't happen. It's human nature.
Some of my friends are gone because for once, I'm not going to do all the work. I just can't, so now I'm the one who loses.
P.S. Oh, and for people who wonder why I don't ever call them, I lost everyone's phone number more than a month ago...so, you should probably leave me your number somehow if you want me to have it, or call.
