http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2006/mar/12/stormy_sunday_morning_possible/?breaking I woke up around 8 AM. It was really quiet and I was exhausted. I had no idea why I woke up. It was so quiet.
Then I heard some rain. Then some more. Then it was pouring down hard, and I heard my front door fly open as strong winds sometimes cause it do do.
I have no contacts in, so my vision is blurred, but as I close the door, the infamous sirens started blaring. Kansas is due for something fierce.
I turn on the weather channel to see, and the power goes out. I shut and latch the door, and just sort of wait around, and the sirens eventually stop. All that's left are the sirens of emergency vehicles, frantically going about.
But as I said earlier. It was 8 in the morning, and I was exhausted. My apartment is fine. I'll deal with this later. I slept.
Still, what a way to wake up.
