Hissatsu!~
Something I haven't been able to say in a very long time.
I am happy. Whee! That feels good. I'm pretty happy my father is back in my life, despite the past. Despite all that's happened, the more than a decade he's been gone, he's still my father and that means alot. I'm also now the proud owner of a Honda 2002 Civic LX. That's also thanks to him. I also now have a girlfriend I hope to spend as much time with as possible. Heather's a very beautiful jewish girl, but the only catch is she's in Wilmington, which is about an hour away. That's not such a big deal, as I can make that drive without much conflict or diffuculty, but I have to have time away from class and work. Speaking of work, I'm still at Smithfields, but I'm going to apply at Firedog, to make several more dollars an hour (10.50 an hour starting? Yes please!)...and none of the immaturity that I'm forced to deal with. Well, I'm sure there will be immaturity, but on a totally different level, a more enjoyable one.
I met Heather several months ago, and we spoke as often as possible. She seemed kind of lonely, and she's had similar hardships that I have, so she figured I would understand her problems (and I did. ), and me hers. She's going to be down here for the weekend whether I have to drive to Wilmington to get her or not. lol... If my job doesn't give me the time off I requested, there's a high chance I'll simply quit. I'm tired of putting up with their bullshit ... I work hard, everyday, and do my best. I'll fire between two or three tasks to keep customers as happy as I can, and still accomplish what I've set out to do for the time. It rarely works the way I want...but whatever, what matters is I'm being paid.
I also have a new ipod, 60 GB, woot.. Anyway, the point of all this is, I'm happy. I don't think I could ask for very much more. I have my health (though a bit more weight than I'd care for..>.< I don't wanna diet...bleh.), my family, my friends, God, and my girl, Heather. I think that's what life is all about, ultimately. ^.^
Anyway, I need to head to class (but get breakfast first!), so I'm out. As an aside..if anyone knows how to convert .avi files to be played on a video-able Ipod, please let me know!
