Jin: "When I talk to Subaru-kun, my view of him changes. Lately I've been wondering if he is a lot more morose."
Subaru: What's that all of a sudden! *laughs* What impression did you have before we talked to each other?
Jin: Scary! *laughs* But when I tried talking to you, kawaii. Right now it's like "scary-kawaii" [AN: This is so cute, Jin says: kowakawaii, as a mixture of kowai and kawaii.] It's because we only started talking to each other during the play this year.
Subaru: I think the first time I met you was probably seven or eight years ago. Before the show that used to air before "The Shônen Club", I saw you for the first time in the NHK dressing room, right? I knew your name, but I had no opportunity to talk to you, and you were also absent from the stageplay in Ôsaka last year. That I now am able to talk to Akanishi who has become a great star... *laughs*
Jin: This time, we also went out and had fun together. Right after the play started.
Subaru: That's right. We talked until around six in the morning, just the two of us. The next day, there was also a play, when we met in the dressing room, we were both slapping our faces. *laughs* But since both of us are stars, we could easily handle the play perfectly. Ah, that's right, Akanishi, you have to make sure you eat breakfast regularly. You have to take care of your health, if you don't, your body will become worn out.
Jin: Subaru-kun is really adamant about taking care of his body. He even drinks black vinegar! *laughs*
Subaru: That's true. I really take care of my body. And, this hasn't anything to do with our topic now, but I am really seen as a morose person. I'm not someone who talks actively to people, the younger ones also don't try to talk to me, and I'm not invited along to have fun with like Akanishi did. I'm really happy when people talk to me. Especially since a part of Akanishi is really kind, I feel relaxed. Besides, since there are more and more adults among KAT-TUN's members, I have the feeling that the distance between KAT-TUN and Eight will gradually become less. Because the age difference matters less once you become adults.
Jin: Since KAT-TUN as a group is completely different from Eight, in a sense, this is also a kind of freshness. For me, that I talked to Subaru-kun really intimately until morning, I think that the distance has shrunk quite a bit. *laughs*
Subaru: From our talk I also learned a lot of different things. That Akanishi is really devoted when it comes to love.
Jin: That's true. What about Subaru-kun?
Subaru: Not at all.
Jin: Ah, I had a feeling you wouldn't be. You don't write mails, and you like icons even less...
Subaru: I don't ever use them!! But I guess when I come to like a girl, I'll write mails with the utmost devotion until we go out. *laughs*
Jin: I don't know if I should find that good or bad... *laughs* Jaa, next, for example what if the girl confesses to you on Valentine's Day?
Subaru: 'I like you. I'll go out with you right away! We'll eat a big chocolate together from corner to corner.' Yeah right. *laughs* But I think any guy would be happy if a girl tells him about her feelings for him.
Jin: True. I also like sudden confessions like that. It doesn't matter at all if the chocolate is hand-made or not. The feeling is what is important, and I can see by one look at my partner's eyes if she has been really thinking of me from her heart.
Subaru: Since Akanishi is so devoted to love, surely you'll also return something on White Day, won't you? I don't do anything on White Day.
Akanishi: Eeeh!! I love events like that. If I have been given something on Valentine's Day, I want to meet on White Day and give something thoughtful back. Subaru-kun is really uncomplicated. When you're together with other guys, you're naughty, though... uncomplicated and naughty! [AN: This is a play on words. I translated tanpaku as uncomplicated and wanpaku as naughty, so Jin says "tanpaku de wanpaku!"]
Subaru: Omae, you're not the type to say something great like that. *laughs* Me, I love giving presents, not just to girls, but generally to people. But I'm not the type to care about special days or events for that. For example, on a normal day when there isn't anything special, we'll go shopping, and if there's something that my girlfriend appears to like, I'll buy it and give it to her. I love stuff like that. (heart)
Jin: That's great.
Subaru: Don't you dare copy me. *laughs*
Jin: Don't worry. Even if I copied you, I don't think we'd fall for the same person. *laughs*

Subaru: "Nononono~, when this magazine appears, it will already be over, but right now we're in the middle of doing DREAM BOY."
Kame: "Yes. I'm saying it only now, but Subaru-kun is really cool. (earnestly)"
Subaru: "Ah~... I get told that often."
Kame: "The character 「美」 ("bi", beauty) really fits him."
Subaru: "Un, I get told that often too."
Kame: "After 'Fight man', when Subaru gives a last strangled 'Ah...', the illumination comes down and the stage lights go around, at that point I'm always like in a trance." *laughs*
Subaru: "Hey, stop it, I'm already very embarrassed~!" *laughs*
Kame: "But it's really true! Someone like me, when I entered the studio today, I was greeted by Ryo-chan with a 'Yo, busaiku.' " *laughs* [AN: I don't know a good English equivalent - busaiku means "plain, homely", but "ugly" would be too hard. It's meant with this undertone, though.]
Subaru: "Abusive remarks like this are part of that kid's character, especially when he's busy. *laughs* He just has to let those feelings out then. If you can, please forgive him!" *laughs*
Kame: "Hahahaha! I see! But this time I thought again what great teamwork you Eight people have."
Subaru: "Have we? Yeah, we do, right?"
Kame: "For me, Yassan is my victim lately. He's really interesting when you tamper with him. Today also, when I asked him with a straight face 'Nee, nee, why is Yassan also acting in DREAM BOY?', there was a really funny reaction and I laughed."
Subaru: "That's so true. That guy, why is he acting in DREAM BOY again~"
Kame: "Subaru-kun, you can't say that! You have to stick up for him here! *laughs* From Eight's point of view, who's most easily to tease? I don't mean Ryô-chan, but I'm also teased a lot."

Subaru: "(interrupting Kame) Ueda!"
Kame: "That was fast!" *laughs*
Subaru: "I just don't understand him. This time, I talked a lot with the members of KAT-TUN, but only Ueda I don't get."
Kame: "Ueda and Yassan always happily talk to each other in the dressing room, don't they."
Subaru: "Kame has his own dressing room, but the other KAT-TUN members share one, and everyone of Eight assembled there and played games. This time, when Nakamaru, Koki and Taguchi came, I got along with them really quickly, but no matter what, I just don't get Ueda-kun! When I look over at him suddenly, he's playing piano all by himself." *laughs*
Kame: "That's the piano he ordered via mail order which always makes this clattering sound when he plays it, right!"
Subaru: "Always on his own, and he plays it sitting sideways that I imagine 'is that a mermaid over there?' *laughs* He makes me feel as if I shouldn't speak to him at any cost!" [AN: Not sure about the middle part of the sentence, i.e. "that I imagine"]
Kame: " 'Don't disturb me!' " *laughs*
Subaru: "On top of that, he sits there and presses the keys of the piano with one hand, while he languidly puts some sweet snack into his mouth with the other! It just won't do to destroy this mood!"
Kame: "He's responsible for that." *laughs*
Subaru: "That's right, isn't it? People like that... can you understand him?"
Kame: "I'm sorry but even if Subaru-kun acknowledges that part of him, you might not expect it, but he really is a normal human being. *laughs* Ah, but yesterday, Yassan and Ueda came into my dressing room and started having a wild guitar and piano session. Why specially come to my room for that? *laughs* I find Nakamaru much stranger than Ueda. Well, I guess if you look at his face, you'll understand." *laughs*
Subaru: "Nakamaru! Lately, I think Nakamaru is a crackpot. *laughs* He can do really funny things with his face! If we're acting on stage, even if there's nothing in the scene, when I happen to meet his eyes it just cracks me up and I can't play anymore. *laughs* "
Kame: "I see, I see! This will be the challenging part for the remainder of the shows. *laughs* In what way can we manage it without laughing... For me, the boxing scenes with Subaru-kun are no good! We furiously glare at each other, but then the mood becomes really funny." *laughs*
Subaru: "Even though it's a scene where the challenge starts in earnest."
Kame: "Yeah. But one can say that we've memorized everyone's line by now."
Subaru: "That's true. Even if we're told to change our roles in the plays from now on, at least we're able to do the lines."
Kame: "Right!"
Subaru: "Did you know that after the fight with Kamenashi in the play, I always say I was defeated?"
Kame: "Eh, what's that supposed to mean?"
Subaru: "After the fight, in the elevator, 'No way, I lost again! Even though I thought I could win today. If I had landed only two or three more hits, I would have won.' " *laughs*
Kame: "But the story will change if Subaru-kun wins!" *laughs*
Subaru: "As it is, even the little kids who get on the elevator try to console me 'Don't worry! Tomorrow you will win! Just a bit more!' *laughs* Everytime I answer 'Really? Okay, then I will train real hard!' " *laughs*
Kame: "I didn't know that! This is so great!" *laughs*
Subaru: "They say 'Knockdown Kamenashi!' After I've been knocked down and suddenly collapse backwards, they wonder if I should try to get up again." *laughs*
Kame: "Ahaha! So, when I punched you countless times and that time you get up again, doesn't that mean that in the end I will get killed?" *laughs*
Subaru: "Yep yep. I think I will come back to life at least once before the final show. During showtime, I always get killed. That's really a mean story! [AN: I don't get the next sentence, sorry! In Japanese, it's "ちょっとは花持たせぇっちゅー話ですよ（笑）"]
Kame: "That's true. Well, then let's make another DREAM BOY version someday where Subaru-kun wins. *laughs*Like a parody, someday I want to do that."
Subaru: "If it comes to that, Eight will be really strong. *laughs* But seriously, Kame is doing his best for the musical this time. One can really feel that you possess the aura appropriate for the main role and that you put a real effort in when one sees you on stage."
Kame: "Nonono! Don't say that~! It bothers me to be told that by Subaru-kun!"
Subaru: "No, I do mean it! In the beginning, this was Takki's play, but I think this time it finished as truly chairman Kamenashi's play. You really gave your best."
Kame: "Uwaa~, I'm happy! But this is because of everyone's effort and because I acted together with Subaru-kun for the first time. I am very grateful for the many things you taught me."
Subaru: "The same goes for me. Well, then let's do our best for the comedy version of DREAM BOY coming up next!"
