45. Anti-Demon Wavelength! ~Fearsome attack, the Demon Hunter born of rage?~
Maka arrives barely in time to save Crona. Using his piano and the power of the black blood, Soul begins to connect all four of them - himself, Maka, Crona, and Marie - in a resonance chain. However, they're forced to hold back because they don't want to harm Rachel, or Stein. Suddenly, one of Medusa's vector arrows is aiming straight for Maka! Crona moves to stop the arrow... with hir own body.
46. The art of war, or just plain carnage? ~Decisive battle, Mifune vs. Black Star?~
Mifune and Black Star begin their destined battle. In order to win the fight, Black Star throws everything that he has into using the Fey Blade, regardless of the risk to his own life. Seeing Black Star in Fey Blade Mode, however, Mifune suddenly remembers a man that he once encountered long ago. His name was White Star. He was the man who first taught Mifune what it meant to feel genuine fear. Meanwhile, Kid has returned to Shibusen with the final demon tool. The name "Eibon" written on the demon tools, and the legendary demon tool inventor himself... Kid finally has his questions about the past answered.

47. The tables miraculously turn! ~Launch, our Death City Robo!~
Black Star is trapped within the Fey Blade. There he encounters the many souls that have been absorbed by the blade, trapped within the world inside the sword. Black Star struggles, but is soon devoured by the souls of the dead. And then, for the second time, Black Star finds himself face-to-face with the great deer spirit. Meanwhile, back at Shibusen, the BREW - containing the greatest of all of Eibon's powers - is finally activated. Those who use the BREW can make any desire become reality. And Shinigami-sama's greatest desire would be...?
48. Shinigama-sama and his Death Scythe! ~But next comes total darkness?!~
Asura has been teleported into the Death Room. As Kid and company look on, Shinigama-sama, armed with Spirit, begins his battle against Asura. In the midst of the violent battle, Asura recalls the many horrible ideas that he created whilst trapped for centuries, sealed away within his own thoughts. From his bottomless imagination he speaks of an unending insanity. "The world order that Shinigami-sama enforces is a fragile thing," he says. "You're nothing but a tool dragging your feet." As the true meaning behind Asura's words suddenly becomes reality... Shinigami, Asura, and the entire world change dramatically.
NEXT MONTH: CLIMAX!!! Will Maka be able to SAVE THE WORLD--?!
The answer, in my humble opinion: HELL YEAH.
