All righty. I've been not feeling like doing this for a while, but now there will be posting.
Let's see...
New classes!
Applied Language Sciences 418 - Teaching English as a Second Language - MWF 10:40-11:47: Awesome subject, fun people, Beckie (the prof) is a bit fruity, but she gave us fortune cookies the first day so I forgive her.
Anthropology 271 - Magic, Witchcraft, and Religion - TTR 10:00-11:47: The subject matter is very interesting, but Prof. Dow would put anyone to sleep. There's some fellow 'Firefly' fans sitting around me though, so it's all right. We can poke each other if we fall asleep.
Philosophy 103 - Intro. to Ethics - TTR 1:00-2:47: Prof. White is awesome. The class is really interesting, but that's a lot of deep thought for one day. I think I'm going to have to found my own school of philosophy though. None of that stuff really works for me.
Honors College 208 - Global Environmental Health - TTR 3:00-4:47: This class is scary. I mean SCARY. Profs. Scweitzer and Lidums are great, but the topic itself is frightening. Did you know that by most estimates, we only have 25 to 30 years of oil left? And that's just the beginning. So very informative, but scary as Hell.
Let's see, what else...
Now I'm head of Campus Relations for the Honors College Student Association, cos I was the only person silly enough to volunteer. But it should be fun, and it'll bring me into contact with more faculty.
I've also joined the Vandenberg House Council, cos they were down to four people and my roommate is one of them. So yeah. More stuff for me to do. Yay!
