Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
I'm actually fairly happy today. I had an awesome Thanksgiving break, and I'm very very ready for more break soon.
Today was Linguistics and it was a large amount of fun. It was particularly amusing when as an example, the prof proposed that if we split the class down the middle, sending each to a different Pacific island, and no contact occurred between us, within 6 generations our languages would no longer be mutually understandable. As we all looked around at our own sides of the room, we realized that there are only a grand total of three guys in the class...two of whom were on our island...A number of amusing comments followed, but my favorite was later, after Tony paid Sarah a compliment. She replied, "You're trying to be all nice to me, but I'm still not going to reproduce with you on the island."
Then I came back through the OC and there was a craft fair. I couldn't really stop then, cos I had to go to the Honors College Student Association (HCSA) meeting. But they had free food and cheesecake...mmmmm. Then I went back to the OC and finished off almost all of my Christmas shopping. Yay!!
And I really want the semester to end, so I can sleep.
