Anybody miss me?
Well, I was offline longer than I thought I was going to be oweing to the fact that I'd forgotten that I was going over my parents for the weekend and they don't have an internet connection... or even a computer for that matter!
Regardless, I am back on line now and even have some new artwork to show for it:

Yes, I did miss you! ^^ And more lovely irony, I actually visited your DA site on a whim (I don't frequent my friends' DA sites too often, really) because I missed you and so was rereading that LJ comment about how you'd just posted your Cat Character pic...and low and behold, a message on your Journal specifically addressing me that you did get my e-mail and why you weren't around! :D I was very happy when I saw that, and it calmed my urge to send you an inquisitive e-mail. See, I DID miss you greatly! ^^
That rocks that you finally finished KH2! :D:D:D Lol, I did the same thing you did; a month after I finished it, I replayed the first one! XD Now I wanna replay the second one again! I'm probably gonna buy it for myself; it's down to 20 bucks now! ^^ And I REALLYREALLYREALLY want them to make an English version of the KH2:Final Mix! D: It's not fair for them to hoard it in Japan like the first one, esp. since I saw some unsubtitled new clips from it on YouTube that go deeper into the Organization! DARNIT, I WANT TO KNOW THE WHOLE STORY! >.< So they'd better cough it up!
^^; Lol, told you I was hyper! I'm ranting at high-speed again! XD
I actually think that the second game is more fun than the first! :D (Even though just about EVERY major plot point was spoiled for me ahead of time...I already knew who Roxas and Namine and 'Ansem' really were (Ansem as in Riku disguised as Ansem...thankfully no one spoiled the secret behind DIZ for me. Lol, I was actually thinking him a bad guy in the beginning for when he tortures poor conflicted Roxas, and then my friend who lent me the game was like, "Uh...actually, he's not evil.") Lol, I must send you the links to some of the awesome KH2 authors/artists on DA! Dragonnova on Deviantart has some of the most hilarious (and gloriously CLEAN) fanart and comics and this really funny spoof story called "Pain in the Axel". You should definitely check her out! :D
Also, I can now send you this little 'essay' type thing I wrote, explaining my feelings on the true nature of the Organization. I was continuously troubled by something, and finally I wrote down my thoughts about it, and I'd like to think it makes sense. ^^ Please remind me to do that in the morning, as it is very late right now and I should have gone to bed about an hour ago. Heh. Perry Mason movie. ^^
Ohhh-kay! I could easily write on and on in my current hyperactive state for well over an hour, I am sure, but I shan't subject you to that until out nexty e-mail! ;D It is teh awesomeness hearing from you, Moonbay! Pleaseplease write me soon! Ttyl!
*Riverfox finishes typing her message just in time as a herd of ninja cattle attack her house, forcin gher to retreat to the underground fortress in her attic and defend the household with only a plastic lightsaber and a handfull of jelly-coated spagetti noodles*

I was open minded when I watched it. seems they remade the characters specifically to tie in with the Sonic adventure games and all games after it. They did that in the Fleetway "Sonic the Comic" which used to be on sale in the UK too. I wasn't keen on the remake of Amy though. Fleetway's original version was older and kicked butt more! Speaking of which, I was supposed to be drawing a picture of Fleetway's original Amy next to Sonia from Sonic Underground... looks like that kinda flew out the window! It's cuz I keep forgetting to pick up my old comics from my parents and there is little to no Fleetway Amy reference on the net!
Which original one was that? The goofy light hearted one? Or the one with Dulcy the Dragon? Both were cool. Sonic X isn't too bad... their representation of Knuckles is definitely better than the Sonic Underground one, but Chris can get a little annoying at times... speaking of which, I cracked up when I found this on DA the other day (thought I'd faved it but it seems I hadn't so I just had to go all over the shop trying to find it again!) I'm planning a couple of KH/Sonic X comics myself so we'll see how they go!
Yay! I was missed ^-^ That's why I figured I'd better post something to let you know. My head was starting to hurt from looking at the computer screen so I figured I'd better give it a rest :S But I'm back now ^-^
Lol, I started to replay the first one, but I haven't got very far yet because I'm trying to level up to level 10 before I take on Riku on the Destiny Island... It could take some time, especially when the only experience I can get is through fighting Tidus and Wakka! 2 Exp per win... Oh boy!
Yeah, that's not fair, especially when you consider that Disney is American! This is what makes me glad that Hasbro Zoids were sold in the US (and later the UK and Australia) only! But I'm currently more interested about all this I'm hearing about KH3 and the Keyblade war! Also, I'm trying to find some replica Oblivion Keyblades. Found a few on eBay, but they're going for about $100 each! Plus they're made of plywood and the handle is the wrong shape! Managed to get a set of four different Keyblade Necklaces though!
I might try to get the GB Advance version of Chain of Memories sometime.
It is more fun. I love the reaction commands. And Roxas was cool to play as. My only quip was the fact that they couldn't put more FFIX characters in. Sure they had Vivi, and Vivi is cool, but I wanted Zidane! Apparently, though, the reason they couldn't use more than Vivi was because the guy who works on the KH games also worked on all the FF games EXCEPT for IX so he didn't have permission to use the others T_T
Heh, I started to guess about Roxas the closer it got to reviving Sora.
Lol, checking out Dragonnova as we speak ^-^
Oh? I'd like to read that. Maybe we can brainstorm about it ^-^
Y'know what? A plastic Lightsaber could work! Scinfaxi used to herd cattle with a white stick... wait a sec... underground fortress... in your attic... I'll send out the Time/Space continuum repairmen immediately!

I don't know so much about Sonic now; I just know that he's cool, the main villain is Eggman, Tails was always my favorite sidekick, and he has a whole group of peoples helping him out, including the rabbit with a bionic arm and leg and that brown chipmunk girl. (I'm not sure what species she is; it's so hard to tell in that style! XD)
Hmmm...ya know, I'm really not sure! I do know that they weren't in the human world, but I DO recall an episode involving a dragon! He did something odd in his sleep that I didn't quite understand, and Eggman was out to get him. I have a mental image of him floating in the air and being swung back and forth as if someone were swinging him around; I think that's what he did every night, and it had some significance. *shrugs* Details are sketchy. I also recall an episode where a whole bunch of sheep bet their freedom on Sonic winning a race against one of Eggman's people, and Eggman blackmailed Sonic by kidnapping Tails. But then Sonic figured out where Tails was, won the race, and saved the sheep from Eggman, who had already taken them all, assured he would win. So yeah; hopefully that'll give you some clue! ^^; Lol! The comic is most amusing. ;)
That's good that you were able to give the computer a rest for a while. I think it's always good to take breaks from things like this on occasion, so we can focus on more important stuff for a while. :)
Lol! I think it was you who put that idea in my head! XD Like I said, I just bought KH2; right before Roxas was supposed to go to the Mansion for the final time, I ran around town fighting Nobodies until he got up to level 10! He was to 11 before I reached Sora, and Sora reached level 12 soon after he woke up! Talk about a sweet beginning! :D
Cool! Those necklaces sound like neat little things to have. ^^ Oh, and if you pop over to my LJ, I just posted a new entry...ranting about how I don't want ANY spoilers for KH3! XD I seriously had very few surprises when I played KH2, which was sad! Although there was a major one that I was reminded of today which I didn't hear about ahead of time: when we all thought Goofy died. THAT caught me by surprise! I think I was just as ticked off as Sora, Donald, and Mickey! But then he came back, and all was well. ^^
Well, it IS interesting how big a role Vivi got, though, isn't it? He was the one the Nobodies kept disguising themselves as. Maybe that was their way of making up for it. *grins and shrugs* Hey, you probably know: can you tell me which FF games all the Twilight Town chars came from? I am curious. ^^ Esp. Hayner. I have no idea where he came from. I only know about the major characters (aka Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith, Leon) and Wakka and Tidus are no-brainers since I'm interested in FFX. But the ones in Twilight Town, I don't get.
Hope you're enjoying Dragonnova's stuff! :D Isn't she great?
I shall e-mail it to you as soon as I can. First, though, I want to reread it and make sure there's nothing else I want to add. I've come across a few more pieces of evidence since I started replaying KH2! :D
Why, thank you, I'd appreciate that! It's been in flux for a while now. I also can't get to the bathroom without crawling through the air duct in the office, and you can imagine how troublesome that has been!

Actually, Eggman is his Japanese name. Until the release of Sonic X he was referred to as Dr Ivo Robotnik in the cartoons and comics (The Ivo bit only seemed to show up in the comics. In "The New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" he was called Julius!)
The Dragon was from the New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and was called Dulcy. Iirc the ep you are talking about is the one where she sort of went through pubity and her instinct dragged her bact to the mountain where all female dragons went to lay their eggs. Dulcy was far too young to lay one, but they did find an egg who's mother was kidnapped by Robotnik. It was funny, because it's the first (possibly only) episode where Dulcy was able to land without crashing!
Dulcy used to sleep upside down from a tree everynight. Dulcy profile clicky ^-^
The sheep episode was not part of the same series. It was part of a completely different one, that was more light hearted and goofy!
The brown Chipmunk girl was Princess Sally and the Cyborg Rabbit was *snerk* Bunnie Rabbot! Both were from the same series as Dulcy Dragon.
Officially Sally is supposed to be a squirrel... not quite sure what went wrong there ^^;
Yeah, I may give it another go one day ^-^
Rofl, if you have the patience, level up like crazy ^-^
Heh heh, read and commented!
Too be honest, at first I though a shadow Heartless was disguised as Vivi (he looks just like one don't he?)
Hmmmmm... Hayner, Pence and Olette... tricky! I'll have to check on this but I believe they were actually re-occuring names throughout the FF series (I'm pretty sure there was a Pence in FFVII). Cid was another re-occuring name... there was always a Cid in a Final Fantasy game!
I faved her ^-^ still haven't finished reading Pain in the Axel yet though!
Yay!
No problem! I once had a client who couldn't get into the garden with out first having to travel through a hallway of infinite rooms!

Yaaaay, Dulcy! Thanks for the link! ^^ I think that series was definitely the one I liked as a kid. ^^ Tails rocks! Lol, a friend of mine totally got a big Tails doll at King's Island (the amusement park) on our big trip there a few weeks ago! We all love Tails! (Although honestly I think I would have gotten the Sonic doll. ;D)
Glad you like Dragonnova's stuff! :D She's currently my favorite artist to watch on DA.
Really? I knew Cid was in every single game, but those other names, too? I wouldn't have guessed!
Yay for favs! :D
Tsk tsk, the trouble those random reality fluxuations give us sometimes! *shakes head reprovingly* It's like the dungeon in The Enchanted Forest book series that couldn't be reached except from the 6th floor of the North-Northwest tower - true story! XD That book series rocks!
Onward to the next LJ comment! *needs to finish soon because it's laaaate* ^^;

Knowing me, I'd've gotten both so that neither felt left out ^^; I like Tails the best though.
Dragonnova has a style of art that's very pleasing to the eye ^-^ Her drawings of Zexion are adorable! And she has FMA art too *glomps Edward Elric*
