I don't see what the problem is here but everyone seems to find this something of immense amusement to them!
Even Scinfaxi keeps asking me if I'd like some tea with my milk!
It's just that I don't mind tea, but it's too hot to drink right away (And this isn't a good thing when you have 10 minutes for break and don't have time to wait for it to cool down!) and I like milk but it does leave an unpleasant after taste in my mouth. Therefore if I put a lot of milk in my tea, it cools it down and doesn't leave an after taste!
In other news, This morning I had to completely wipe my laptop's hard drive and reinstall windows!
It all started a few days back when AVG kept detecting trojan horses on my hard drive! I scanned the machine, and it seemed to have done the trick but a couple of days later it started doing it again. I kept telling it to heal the various files but every time it did that it would detect another threat a couple of seconds later!
Scinfaxi spent a very long time searching it over, and it turned out my laptop was absolutely RIDDLED with Spyware! He tried various different methods to get rid of it, but every time he got rid of them they'd just come back again like some annoying and clingy neighbour!
At one point it seemed that the viruses were tied in to Internet explorer, but even upgrading didn't seem to work!
So... I spent all of yesterday evening saving all of my picture files, story files, videos etc (Anything that didn't have a .exe or .dll extension as those are the file types that can hold viruses) all whilst watching Comic Relief on BBC1!
This morning I got my Toshiba recovery disks and reinstalled the system! Luckily, as stated, all my story files were saved, but currently I can't find my Microsoft Works disk so I can't actually reinstall Works Word Processor! I can still continue writing on my desktop but only when Scinfaxi decides to relinquish it ^_^'
Worryingly, Scinfaxi stated that a couple of the viruses he found conformed to those used by hackers to spy on other people's computers *wimpers nevously* so, even though I don't believe I accessed my eBay and Paypal accounts on my laptop recently, it's difficult to gauge just how long these viruses may have been on there for... thus, I've changed my passwords!
Still awaiting my Geno Breaker Jet... *Sigh*
