I HAVE MOVED!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but, it's official! I have now moved in with Scinfaxi ^-^
Scinfaxi's been keeping a record of how it was going, which he's dubbed Operation Overlady, so I'm just updating on my end!
A fair amount of my things have been sorted out now, though, the majority of my Zoid collection is still back at my parents. The computer has been set up in the living room... which Scinfaxi has now nicked to play Half-Life 2 (gmod), so I'm writing this on my laptop!
The Zoids I've brought with me have now settled into temporary homes. I'm now going to try to locate a small bookcase or media tower so I can put some more Zoids there.
Here's how my Zoids are currently positioned:
Yeah, that's a lot of Command Wolves! Go on, count 'em! Can't be bothered? I have 9, and oddly enough, I STILL don't own every version of Command Wolf out there!
I decided it would be cool to have Dead Border and Dark Horn up there on the same shelf since they're both the same colour. They look cool together! Then I stuck the RAH Edward doll up there for good measure ;)
Shield Liger MK II has now been officially dubbed 'The pen holder'
And yes, that IS a Robo Raptor on the bottom shelf there... the Cats have been having great fun with him! Especially Mishka who tried to walk past him and jumped out of her skin when Zeke (That's what I called my Raptor!) suddenly turned his head and sniffed her! Wish I'd had the camera ready for that one!
My white Dino Expo Geno Saurer is kindly taking care of my meds for me (Well, it's not really that white... more of a creamy bone white)
My Poor Geno Breaker had a little problem with his X-Breaker. The attachment split and became loose so I tried to glue it back, but that only made things worse and the whole thing fell apart completely! Luckily, today I managed to track down a new Breaker on eBay so hopefully soon I'll be able to repair it!
Okay, I know these two ain't Zoids, but, the one on the left is Jamie's Escaflowne and the one on the right is my Gundam Death Scythe. I brought Death Scythe to keep little Esca company, what with all the onslaught of animal shaped mechs, but unfortunately, I've lost his Energy Scythe and haven't been able to locate it yet.
Speaking of which, before I moved in, I brought a small complement of Zoids with me and this is what happened:
My Poor little Liger Zero Falcon! As Scinfaxi said, Dead Border was so traumatised by the exerience that his leg armour fell off!
I still have my Kotobukiya Shield Liger Desert type to put together. I've had it for about a month!!
And still on the subject of Zoids, I've FINALLY got a Geno Breaker Jet! And not just ANY Jet! It used to belong to Phenotype, Webmaster of Phenotype's Zoids site and forum. I won his Zoids Vs II Desert Liger too ^-^ I can't believe Scinfaxi got up at 4 in the morning JUST to make sure I got Jet! That is so romantic!
Argh, just remembered I have a doctor's appointment next Thursday! Hard to believe it's been a year since my last appointment!
