Time for a pet photoshoot!
As some of you may have noticed, I'm using a new LJ template. I was getting a little bored with the old one, plus I couldn't figure out how to do links.
BUT, That's all sorted now, and I FINALLY have Links to my Web-comic and also to some other places I frequent!
Now, I'm officially moving in with Scinfaxi sometime in March, but, along with a new home, I'm also going to be aquiring seven new pets ^-^ Yup, two dogs and five cats! I felt it was time to introduce you all to them since we spent all of Saturday taking photos of them!
First off, the dogs:
This is Max, aka Pooh Bear or Pooh Gook. Not quite sure what breed he is but there's definitely Labrador and Border Collie in him. He just wants to be everybody's friend!
This is Sue, aka Foogle. She's Tibetan Spaniel X Lhasa Apso (Or, as Scinfaxi's Mum refers to it, a Bog Brush crossed with a Cloth Mop!) She's yappy, but trust me, her bark is worse than her bite (unless you happen to be Max, in which case keep your ears out of reach at all times!)
Now, the cats:
This is Nikita, aka Nunu, Nuni, Unifang or short fat black cat. She used to be quite timid but she's gotten a lot bolder in recent years. Nikita likes to sit on the arm of Scinfaxi's armchair a lot. She got the name "Unifang" cuz one of her top fangs is missing.
This is Tiggers, aka Du Tigs, Tig Tig Tiggin Time Bomb or Boutique. He's a lovely cat who likes to climb on shoulders ^-^
This is Isis, aka Bobos or Isi bisi Bobos. She's the oldest of the cats. She's not quite all there and likes to nick food from dinner plates!
This is Mishka, aka Mimi, Mumu, Mouse or Puff tail. She was the hardest one to take a photo of because she JUST. WOULD. NOT. STAND. STILL! We got one in the end though. She's very affectionate but she doesn't really like being picked up at all. Mishka has an annoying habit of following people into the bathroom and looking for affection whilst you're trying to do your business... Most annoying.
And last, but by no means least, This is Merlyn, aka Mang Mang, Main Man or Myrrdin Emrys. Also occasionally described as my boyfriend since he seems to have some kind of emmense facination with me! Also tends to just stop dead in the middle of doing something, like washing, he'll start then stop suddenly and spend the next five minutes with his leg still in the air. I put him last because I'm really pleased with the way his picture came out. He was climbing onto my lap when I took it.
Well, I think that's all of them! Please excuse the mass of Nicknames ;)
