Important threads/plot points/Mewtwo and Shia threads
I... am bored and figured I should do this to keep track of my Mewtwo and Shia shit better SO. HERE IS A LIST OF IMPORTANT THREADS. Mostly Mewtwo and Shia things but also other notable moments.
Mewtwo and Shia:
The first meeting. Mewtwo is disbelieving, Shia is emo, and Mewtwo can't help but feel concerned baffled by Shia's acceptance of death.
"Your willingness to let yourself die is selfish."
"I don't want to die here." A severely weakened captive Shia speaks telepathically with Mewtwo.
An unexpected houseguest. AKA the moment that officially made it a Beauty and the Beast AU. In a moment of pain and loss, Shia decides to escape to another world for a time. Where she chose to escape to might not have been the best choice. (And Mewtwo experiences something entirely new to him-- sympathy. Unfortunately, he has no idea what to do with it.)
"I'm so sorry." Shia apologizes for having accidentally seen a particular video in Mewtwo's labs and Mewtwo refuses to confront a problem, leading directly into...
Shia's death. Shia passes away from starvation and weakness and Mewtwo remembers the words of an old friend, having to deal with an old feeling all over again. Klaus catches him in a moment of weakness but is promptly chased away... for a time.
Mewtwo asks Hades for the price of a demon's soul.
"I just... don't want her to be dead." What I consider one of the most important threads so far. Mewtwo admits, for the first and only time thus far, that he may feel some form of compassion for Shia to gain help from Hades.
"Mewtwo watched the body lying on the flat table of his main hall intently, searching for a sign of life. If Hades had betrayed him, he would find and kill the god of death himself." Shia is revived, earning a very mixed reaction from Mewtwo. He demands she stay there where no one can harm her until she's strong enough to protect herself.
"If Rufus ShinRa needs his belongings, it is his task to retrieve them."
Shia discovers her transformation ability due to a misinterpretation by the mun and spends some time as a kitty. Mewtwo comes to investigate but flees to the basement after being faced with the one thing he can't handle-- affection.
"C'mon, don't you want to have some fun with ol' Spike?" Shia is attacked and injured by Spike; Mewtwo comes to her rescue.
"... do you think that... perhaps... I could belong here?" A wounded Shia speaks with Mewtwo about her place in the world, or lack thereof.
"How can they use me against you if you don't care what happens to me?" The attack of the inanimate objects virus. Mewtwo and Shia fight and flee together to her tower, and then are trapped together for a time, leading to a painful confrontation and Mewtwo's realization that he has no idea how to deal with a crying girl.
"She is my demon, if she belongs with anyone." Mewtwo confronts Klaus, who'd taken Shia and repressed her human emotions, turning her into an unfeeling creature like himself.
This was a matter of taking back what was his. Mewtwo and the Doctor confront Klaus and Shia.
Mewtwo thinks out loud by way of private post about Shia and her transformation ability. Yuki, being Yuki, hacks in.
