Klaus stood in the snow, patiently awaiting the arrival of his challengers; he knew perfectly well what that Mewtwo was capable of, but that other man, he'd never spoken with before. He smirked; foolish creatures. They had no idea what it was they were dealing with

"Ready?" he asked Mewtwo, standing next to the TARDIS doors.

Of course, he knew that to reveal his anger would give The Doctor incorrect ideas about his feelings. This was a matter of taking back what was his. The fact that Shia was that thing (and that she wasn't actually his) was secondary. The Doctor would hopefully not notice that the scowl he always wore was even more intense than usual.

"The TARDIS," Shia breathed, scarcely sound at all, but it made Klaus's head turn sharply to look at her. He didn't speak, but he watched her with a look that was definitely doubling as a warning.
"You would do well to remember our business with them, Shia."
"Yes," Shia said, shaking herself from her reverie and glancing up at him with a twisted smile. "I know."
Klaus smiled darkly in return. Let them try.

"Alright then. Let's go."
And with that, he flung open the door of the TARDIS and stepped out, facing the two demons with a hard expression.
"Hello, Klaus." His gaze shifted to Shia and his expression softened slightly. "Nice to see you again, Shia. Or it would be, if Klaus here hadn't stripped you of all your free will."

He was floating several feet above the ground, buoyed by the sheer amount of power he was channelling. He glared into explosion from his attack, deliberately ignoring Shia's presence. She was clearly not herself, and the Pokemon could put her to right after he had taught Klaus not to meddle in his affairs.

"Good to see you, too," he said playfully, rolling on the ground and smoothly back to his feet.
Shia watched silently, an unknown force restraining her from going into the fray; a red flag in the back of her mind, dull but definitely there. She pushed it aside as best she could and watched.

With force, if needed.
So he ran, beginning to make his way over to where she was standing silently. Of course, there was no telling what she might do in this state, but if he didn't even try to help while he had a chance... could she pick up his thoughts, he wondered? Usually he needed skin contact, but if Shia was a demon...
No harm in trying. He called out with his mind. Shia? Shia, can you hear me?

Doctor, was all she thought in response.
Klaus dodged many of the strikes, but was knocked sharply off his feet, winded by another; yet another struck him in the face, burning him.
"Damn," he swore sharply, growling and preparing his counterattack; a more focused, powerful form of what Shia had used previously. A fireball with the force and weight of a small car was fired off in Mewtwo's direction; Klaus had no idea how good the thing was at evasion, but he hoped it was weaker in that sense than it was offensively.
