Coming Out by Dangermouse

This is one of the most incredible epics I have ever read in the Stargate fandom. It was written a number of years ago, but I simply cannot stay away. I have downloaded this story and read it so many time it sometimes feels as though my screen is going to wear out from overuse. --laughs--
The basic gist of the story into is this - Jack and Daniel come out to the military.
Sound like a hundred other fics? Maybe. The thing is, Dangermouse doesn't stop there. From that point on the story explodes outward with incredible plots, yes, plots multiple, and the coming out story becomes akin to a world-building saga that grows and grows and grows.
One of the reasons I adore Dangermouse's stories is because she doesn't forget to include characters. Sometimes when I read J/D fics, it's as though the rest of SG-1 doesn't exist, and I don't like that. 'Coming Out' is centered on Jack and Daniel, but the others get loads of screen time as a team and individually, and she doesn't stop there. Dangermouse includes characters from the full extent of the Stargate SG-1 universe, and she inserts them into various situations and plots so deftly it's as though those characters were created after she wrote these stories, that's how real her characters feel when she writes them.
