(no subject)
So this weekend was insane.
I flew up to Norman thursday night for my OU musical theatre audition on friday. We drove around for a bit and I fell in LOVE with the campus. I have to go to OU. There is no other option period. So to help that happen, I'm auditioning for the School of Music as well. The Musical Theatre department is just to competitve for me to put all my eggs in one basket ya know? Anyways, the audition went fabulous! I felt at ease with all 10 reps watching me. They laughed at my monolouge though, so thats good. Hopefully they liked it. The earliest we can find out is in about 2 weeks sooo that would be FREAKING AWESOME. I wouldn't have to worry about any other auditions or applications or anything. It's nice to dream right? lol.
Then friday night, we flew back home because I had Region early saturday morning. Region went well. Of course, I was 58 out of 68 girls auditioning. I swear, i'm always last when it comes to these auditions. I ended up getting 6th. Which I am perfectly OK with because I was so focused on my OU audition, I hardly practiced. But now, its hard core Pre Area prep. because I REFUSE to be alternate again. It CANNOT happen 3 years in a row. I will jump off the roof on the high school. Not really, but I would feel like it. Soooo lets keep our fingers crossed k?
November is going to be the most hectic month of my life. Not only am I preparing for pre area, we're bring leading ladies back together before state. I'm also doing solo musical so I need to start working on that. Then the sunday we get back from state, I'm doing the Greater Houston Auditions at Cinco Ranch. ughhh. TTHENN we start Godspell and its a whirlwind of music,dance, and funny customs until january. THHHENNNN we start U.I.L. geezzz
hopefully it will go by quickly so my life can return back to normal for about 2 months, then off to college.
