January 5
Ron ponders how 2004 ended and 2005 began.
January 7
Along with Hermione, Ron helps Cedric unpack his belongings at the former summer house.
January 8
Ron sends an owl to Lavender, asking her out on another date.
January 9
Ron goes to dinner at Lavender's flat. Dinner is followed by several "desserts".
January 12
Ron goes looking for some missing shirts. He finds Hermione, and they have a bad row.
January 13
Out of sorts after his fight with Hermione, Ron goes meandering and ends up talking to Roger.
Looking to get drunk, Ron goes to the Five Alarm, where he drinks with Cedric and Terry.
January 14
After finally realising that Hermione has moved out, Ron searches for her all over Stoats. Eventually he runs into Lavender, has tea with her, and realises where Hermione has probably gone. He finds evidence of where she's living, but she's not there, and he asks Harry to help him.
January 17
Ron gets an owl from Lavender asking if he's doing better and whether he's made up with Hermione. Later that evening, he does some thinking about the past few days.
January 18
Ron's bad leg finally bothers him so much that he visits the hospital, where Luna takes care of him.
January 21
Missing Lavender, Ron owls her and asks her to go to the new dance club with him. While waiting for her reply, he continues to think about the Hermione situation.
January 22
Ron replies to a note Hermione left for him at the shop.
January 23
Out walking with his young daughter, Viktor stops by the house and gives Ron some advice about Hermione.
January 24
Right after dinner, Ron stops in at a surprise birthday party for Colin and Romilda. Later, Ron and Lavender go dancing at Xanadu. Sex ensues.
January 26
Ron takes Roger up on his invitation to have a chat. Roger gives him advice about Hermione.
January 27
Ron tries to make up with Hermione, but she's not around so he has to wait.
January 28
Ron and Hermione have a long talk, clearing the air and starting to mend their friendship.
January 30
Charlie invites Ron to lunch. Ginny owls Ron. Ron meets Charlie for lunch at Socks; Lavender says hello.
January 31
Ron sends owls to Viktor, Roger and Lavender to thank them for helping him.
