Mahgda finds a new friend, Julian Avery's kneazle kit Georges, while the men discover they are neighbors and work a business deal.

Rabastan faces Rodolphus for the first time since his accident and convinces his brother to temporarily remove his wedding ring. Miss Li sends a postcard from Japan.

Rabastan joins Padma at the Observatory for lunch, where she serves Indian food and tells him she is opening a law practice with Miss Clearwater.

Rabastan and Ginevra meet and the brief tension gives way as they each decide they enjoy the company of the other too much to abandon the friendship or student-teacher relationship.

Andromeda checks in on Rabastan to see how he is doing after his accident. Draco gives notice and tells Rabastan via owl post of his plans to go into business for himself. Rabastan lets his anger with himself and Ginevra out in an exchange of letters, before he apologizes for not telling her about Rodolphus.

Rabastan meets with Dean Thomas regarding Rodolphus' new home, gallery and art studio, and Lestrange Family offices.

The day after Rabastan's accident has not been easy, but the night is even worse until Narcissa arrives to help ease his aches. Earlier, Padma sends an owl asking Rabastan to join her for lunch the following week.
