This is ridiculous, Parvati thought. You have to get out of the house more.
As she walked out the door of the hospital, she turned her feet away from her intended path toward Copper Towers and turned instead toward the Five Alarm.
Dinner out, she thought. You don't have to actually talk to anyone, and you could rush through it and head home to read if you don't see anyone you know.
She opened the door, heading straight for a corner table with a possible sunset view. As she waited to get the attention of a waitress, she patted the small book in her pocket.
You can't read in here, she thought. At least you can't unless you're Hermione Granger, and even then, she would never read silly paperback novels.
Sighing, she resisted the impulse, instead looking out the window.
