I have a new home. A new dog that I admit is too cute for words and does look a little like Tachibana-san as the days go by. I'm waiting for him to try and hump my leg when I'm not looking. Not that Tachibana-san would hump my leg when I wasn't looking, but I don't want him getting ideas.
It's nice here though. Cosy. I like it. We're still unpacking things as we go, it won't take long to have everything just the way we want it. The dog shit on my shoes though so I think we need to start training it that taking a crap in the apartment isn't a good thing. I took them both for a walk before school today, I know I said that it was the girls job but I decided to do it. They walk well together so I can live with that.
Last night I went on a date. I was thinking about it and I'm not sure when the last time I went out on an actual date was. When you live together and spend so much time together it's easy to forget things like that. It was nice though. We only went for a meal but I enjoyed myself and I think we should do it again. But if it happens again that we forget I won't be worried. I like spending time with him, even if it's just sitting on the sofa watching a movie. It's, as someone was nice to point out, very domestic. But I like that. It's comfortable and it feels like a real family. I've never really had that before and neither have the girls. Growing up it was never quiet nights watching movies or silly games of twister or being tucked into bed and not being woken up in the middle of the night to banging and yelling. They've had a rough time........... I'm happy they can have domestic now. They deserve it.
And thanks again, An-chan, for babysitting for them. They were talking this morning about having you over again to make some more cakes. If you're not busy?
....... I also have to do this, since I commented to Rin's post and he told me that he liked the way I ramble. I think he was teasing me. The only person who likes me rambling is Tachibana-san and I don't think he listens to me all the time when I do it, he just likes the sound. Like white noise. I'm ocean sounds. That's weird....... I think I'll stop thinking like that before I start wondering about whales and things.........
