looking for advice

I've been researching HDTVs for the past several months, trying to decide which one to buy. I've discovered several decent models in my price range. However, I'm having difficulty deciding between plasma and LCD, as both seem to have pros and cons:

Plasma
+ best picture
+ best refresh rate
- high power consumption
- greater burn-in potential (bad for playing video games)

LCD
+ no burn-in
+ less power compared to plasma
- potential for motion blur (bad for watching football games)
- picture not quite as good as plasma

Does anyone have any experience with either of these technologies that they'd be willing to share?
