I woke up at 3a.m. this morning from what (I think) was a nightmare and I'm about to and find out what it meant. It was strikingly vivid and it kind of scared me how clearly I remembered it. As you know as of late I have not been keeping up with my dream journal, and already several dreams have come and gone that were excellent but I never wrote down. Oh, woe is the lazy writer!
Moving on, an update on my dear kitten and little black familiar Gabby. She has grown and is now eight months old, four times the size she was when I found her that fateful day under a car tire. She now wears a black collar, and follows me around everywhere. Well, on with my story.
I woke up early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. It was too early to do anything but read or listen to music and both my brothers were still fast asleep. What do I do? I grab my nook, make a cup of tea (no sugar for me, thank you!) and I began to read this new fiction I had made into a pdf file called Scar Tissue.
As I was beginning to read, I got bored and went online after a while. As soon as I did little miss Gabby, whom is still very small and probably always will be, decided she wanted attention. She was purring under my chin and in my face, wanting to be petted. Every time I lifted her up and dumped her to the side, Gabby immdiately got right back up and came back purring in my face again. I sighed, trying to shoo her away. She relented, and finally went to go join her boyfriend Fritz.
Gabby has also taken the liberty of taking my red plush blanket and claiming it as her own. Now, when I got to bed at night, she slips in her little blanket bed, massaging and purring before finally settling down. I have to admit, these two kittens are completely two characters and every time I look at them I can't help but wonder whatever what I shall do with them. I may eat them, but that would just be cruel. Though, I do threaten them with making them lunch on a daily basis. ;)
