I fed my puppy-dog lye tonight and it died. It smiled and we waltzed matilda. We oh-suzanna'd and skipped in the dew. We rum-pum-pum-pumed and swollowed flies. We made peas and porridge and road a cockhorse to Breman. We Kadoo-shakood and ratta-shatta-lied. He trimmed the sails, but that is all he could do. I rowed the boat ashore. I put him in the back of my dumptruck, and drove home to the sights of whales with polka-dotted tails, flies wearing ties, bears combing their hairs. Frolicking dragons. deep blue seas. butchers. bakers. candlestick makers. polly. kettles. kings. horses. mens. four-and-twenty blackbirds. plumbs, and sheep. My favorite have always been the sheep (when blue dinosaurs aren't around, of course.)
