So my grandmother (on my mom's side) is in the hospital. She's not ill or anything, but she fell and broke her ankle...as old folks are wont to do. She'll be out of the hospital soon, though they will be sending her to rehabilitation for a few days, hopefully. We'll need those few days, because we are getting everything ready to have her move in with my mom. We spent the last two days going through the house, clearing out all of her belongings. There was about 30 dollars in loose change though, so it's not a total loss. Some of her things, she is giving to me (including a painting by my great-uncle). Some, my cousins will have, and whatever else there is that she doesn't want will be sold. It'll be weird having her so close, though I suppose she wasn't all that far in the first place. Most of all, I worry for my dad, as my grandmother keeps very odd hours and my dad cannot sleep if there is even the least noise.
